Beer Bread (and other recipes with 3 or less ingredients)

This afternoon I made my favorite easy recipe. Beer bread. It is literally 3 ingredients and takes 5 mins to prep. (about and hour in the oven). Here is the simple recipe that I found on

3 cups flour

3 Tbsp sugar

1 bottle/can (12 oz) beer

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease pan(s)

2. Mix together dry ingredients

3. Add beer (I like to add flavored beer)

4. Bake for 50-60 min

Its THAT easy. I used Pumpkin Ale today, but I’ve also tried it with blueberry and winter lager.

Another recent pumpkin two ingredient recipe I tried was this cake. The frosting is a few more ingredients, but if you don’t have those laying around the house they are inexpensive enough.

This next recipe is my husband’s. It is 3 ingredients.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 egg

1 cup sugar

1 cup peanut butter

Bake @ 350 for 6-8 min.

They are delicious!

And don’t forget about Banana Pancakes from my earlier post. Two ingredient recipe that will change breakfast forever!

I have not been able to try this one, but I have some bananas ripening.  This Cookie recipe is 2 ingredients. You can also add chocolate chips if you would like.

Valentine’s Day Breakfast was amazing 2 years ago when I made this recipe. Press a biscuit into the bottom of each greased muffin tin hole. Wrap one piece of bacon around top. Crack egg into middle. Bake @ 350 25-30 min.

Pancakes are one of my favorite foods. Here is another super easy 3 ingredient recipe for Apple Cinnamon Pancakes.

Doughnuts! When we lived in a small town in west Texas I made doughnuts every morning for a small local coffee shop. They were such a hit that I had to wake up early on the weekends to make them before my other job so the regulars didn’t complain. THIS was my “secret” recipe. It is 3 ingredients. (I used powdered sugar as a topping instead of granulated)

That is all I have for today. What are some super easy 2 or 3 ingredient recipes that you love? Feel free to share. I always love a new recipe!
